ABOUT the Founder

“Communicating with others in my second language used to be one of my flaws. Due to my introverted nature and lack of confidence, I often felt frustrated after social and professional interactions.

I knew that I had great ideas and had the ability to contribute to a great conversation, but most of the time, I would feel mentally ‘blocked’, pressured and stressed around groups of people.

I thus found it difficult to build relationships and progress professionally. In other words, my substandard communication skills were jeopardizing my life.

I had to do something about it. And I did.

Through a mix of studying communication skills, shifting my mindset and throwing myself into situations that were outside of my comfort zone, I gradually broke through my boundaries and became a confident communicator.

I firmly believe that whatever pain points we overcome, we have a duty to help other people rise above the same or similar challenges.

And I’m proud to say that I have helped 100’s of international professionals become confident and fluent communicators in English since 2001, by combining language learning methods, communication skills principles, mindset work, and coaching techniques.

During this time I became a Cambridge-qualified English teacher, owned a language school providing services for corporations in Brazil for ten years, evolved into a life coach, and currently with Impactful English, blend Business English coaching with life coaching that proposes a unique method for developing international professionals’ communication skills in a work environment.”
